Mike Bruno is currently the Fixed Income Business Unit Head for the FTSE Group and is responsible for building FTSEs global fixed income index business.
Mike came to FTSE from Reuters America, where he was the Fixed Income Product Manager for Reuters Station and a Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income. He has been involved in the analysis of many types of fixed income securities since 1989 and has worked for Morgan Stanley, Dillon Read, EJV Partners and Bridge Information Systems (Bridge acquired EJV in 1995 and was itself acquired by Reuters in 2001).
Mike as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Financial Management at New York Universitys School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where he has taught Fixed Income Portfolio Management since 2000. While at Reuters, Mike frequently conducted internal classes on fixed income securities and their analysis, as well as Reuters fixed income product training.
Mike has taught fixed income securities and analytics at PaineWebber and Caxton Associates and spent a week in Beijing (March/April 2003), where he taught fixed income securities analysis to Chinese professionals in a program sponsored by New York University.
