James R. Davis

Practical Experience:


James R. Davis is a New York Institute of Finance faculty member specializing in courses covering the spectrum from basic securities industry knowledge to sophisticated investment sales and management concepts as well as specialized product training; how to discuss financial issues with clients – including asset allocation and investment performance – and to handle irate customers.

He has also prepared and delivered required global entry program on asset management for new bankers in two large firms and built and delivered highly customized programs for clients’ adult children to prepare them for handling the family fortune when it comes to them.

Prior to his current work as President of Wall Street Training Ltd., Mr. Davis was a partner of an investment management firm, VP of compliance for Salomon Brothers and held various positions at the New York Stock Exchange, including heading the department in charge of licensing examinations.
