Dr. Bulmash is a full-time faculty member at American University in Washington, D.C., having been there since September 1975.
He also teaches numerous continuing education courses in accounting, auditing, and tax for CPAs in public practice through State CPA Societies and in-house for local CPA firms. This includes staff training courses. He has received several awards for outstanding teaching from these societies.
He serves as a consultant for a local CPA firm and helps them with some audits, as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of a publicly traded real estate entity.
Dr. Bulmash also has experience with an international CPA firm and a local CPA firm during summer internships.
He also spent two years writing questions for the Uniform CPA Examination, an exam given throughout the entire US.
