The globalization of the world's financial markets proceeds at an accelerating clip. Even as recently as the 1980's, local markets seemed largely insulated from events in neighboring countries. The near-meltdown of emerging markets in the mid-1990's (and the resultant global shockwaves) demonstrated how interdependent the world's markets have become, and how important it is to understand markets beyond your own. We offer a solid grounding in international markets, from the perspectives of both the US participant and the non-US investor.
